In search of a decent life hundreds of refugees drown every year at Europe's coasts. ProAsyl would like to draw the attention to these fates to stop the dying.
To call attention to this to the more general public, on the International Day of Refugees students posed the victims with printed replicas of their own bodies in the Frankfurt Main river drift - with signs on their backs like "Drowned on the eve of Sicily".
In addition to strong attention from passers-by and the hied police force, a large press coverage has been reached in which the concerns of ProAsyl got a supra regional forum.
